Our Mission & Vision

Our Vision:
All education, health care and social welfare barriers towards people especially children
and youth with disabilities are removed in Rwanda and no one is left behind.

Our Mission:
To support (primary) health care, education and socio-economic development of children
and youth with disabilities and other vulnerable people in Rwanda.

We offer an outreach program for people with disabilities in rural areas of Rwanda to leave no one behind.

Primary Health Care at the local level, especially where infrastructure is weak and health fascilities are rare.

Diagnose, treatment plan, physiotherapy, assisitive devices, counseling, health insurance, surgeries, destigmatization and socio-economic development are our main activities.

Capacity building of Community Health Worker and parents in the villages to improve the quality and accessibility of health services.

Social fund to improve the social-economic development and a healthier life.

We support healthy nutrition in the fight against malnutrition and hunger for the prevention of diseases and for a healthier life.

What we achieved so far

Numbers of Health workers

We trained  304 Community Health Workers in Karongi District in Diagnosis, Physiotherapy, Counseling and Early Childhood Development. They are the backbone of the health system in Rwanda. In addition to that we trained 91 parents in these topics as well for capacity building.

Number of villages

We reached out 112 villages in 3 sectors with our mobile team to give diagnosis, counseling, physiotherapy, orthopedic devices and other medical support.

Number of patients

Until now we served 421 patients and their families with our mobile team to give diagnosis, counseling, physiotherapy, orthopedic devices and other medical support.

Kids in Nutritional Service

We created 20 therapy and counseling groups for parents and kids

Number of health insurances paid

We paid health insurance for 819 patients and their family members in order to have access to health care system.

Number of families for social fund

More than 120 poor and vulnerable families were getting support from our social fund to help them  with basic needs.
